What is mindfulness? How can you bring mindfulness into your everyday life? How can being mindful bring more joy and wellness into your life?
In this 90-minute class, we will cover the basics of mindfulness (based on Jon Kabat-Zinn's MBSR* training program). Through gentle movement, meditation, mindful exercises and discussion, we will cover ways in which to incorporate mindfulness into your everyday life. You will also be provided with resources and support to continue on your mindfulness journey.
*MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) is supported by a wide body of research showing that it is effective at addressing chronic pain, anxiety, depression, and general stress reduction.
