We are thrilled to announce that we are now offering the renowned and transformative Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) 8-week course developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn.
MBSR is a well-researched and widely endorsed therapeutic approach, skillfully combining mindfulness meditation and yoga to cultivate awareness and reduce stress, fostering profound mental and physical well-being.
What are the benefits of MSBR?
Researched for over 40 years, MBSR has consistently delivered positive outcomes associated with reduction in symptoms of various physical & mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, stress, chronic pain, hypertension and many others.

What does a MBSR class look like?
MBSR is offered in weekly 2.5 hour sessions over 8 weeks, an orientation and an all day mindfulness retreat.
The first half of each MBSR class provides an extended period of practice, incorporating different forms of guided meditation as well as gentle standing and lying-down yoga. The second half of each class is dedicated to group discussion (inquiry) – exploring participants’ direct experiences with the formal and informal practices being taught during each class as well as their experiences from daily home practice.
Attendance in each session is very important as each week’s practices build upon each of the previous weeks’ lessons. Upon participating in Orientation, at least 6 of 8 weekly sessions, and the "All Day Retreat", each participant will receive a certificate of completion.
WINTER SESSION DATES: 8-weeks, January 28 - April 6, 2025
(No sessions held the week of March 3)
+ An orientation session, Monday, January 27, 6:30pm - 7:30pm OR Thursday, January 30, 7pm-8pm (held on Zoom).
+ An All Day Mindfulness Retreat, Sunday, March 16, 9am - 4pm (in-studio).
